O despejo violento orquestrado pelo governo Geraldo Alckmin quebrou com todos os pactos e leis sobre o direito a terra e moradia.
A mídia corporativa insiste em chamar os moradores de Pinheirinho de "invasores", e não mostra os verdadeiros criminosos: A Polícia do Estado de São Paulo que matou a queima roupa pessoas inocentes.

Em conjunto com outras ações de solidariedade, nós vamos ao consulado Brasileiro nesta segunda feira, dia 13, das 9:30 da manhã ao meio dia, para mostrar que nós, Brasileiros vivendo em NY estamos com o povo de nosso país. Vamos enviar a mensagem de nossa indignação diante do poder corrupto assolando o estado de São Paulo e o Brasil.

There is an emergent call for Solidarity with the inhabitants of
Pinheirinho, an entire neighborhood evicted by the Police of the State
of São Paulo, Brazil.
Around 2 thousand families have been occupying for the last 8 years a land that previously belonged to a BANKRUPT company owned by the millionaire Naji Nahas.
The State of São Paulo decided to reimburse the land to the previous
owner and in a completely illegal, unconstitutional and unjustifiable
action, evicted the families last Sunday, the 22th, at 6 AM in the
morning, with rubber bullets, tear gas and physical violence, even killing innocent people.
The day after the eviction the police set fire and destroyed all of
their houses, not even giving the people the right to pick up their
belongings.
They are now staying in shitty shelters and have no place to go and no help from the government.
Corporate midia and the State have been hiding information about it,
and creating misinformation.
